The purpose of the Administration Department is to provide leadership, directions and coordination of all support services to all core departments of the Ministry, in the process overseeing  all administrative and financial functions of the Ministry, including all affiliate agriculture institutions.


       Policy interpretation and direction to the Ministry and its affiliate institutions

       planning, monitoring and evaluation of organizational performance

       ensure proper deployment of the Ministry’s assets

       Institute checks and balances of the Ministry

       Facilitate procurement of all goods and services

       Ensure proper transport / fleet management

       Ensure proper management and utilization of ICT resources
