Wellness and Health at Ministry of Agriculture Headquarters

 

The Government of Malawi through the Office of the President and Cabinet instituted a wellness exercises program where civil servants are requested to take light physical exercises to improve their fitness levels. The exercises so far involve walking around Capital Hill and undertaking body stretches. The prescribed day and time for the exercises is [every] Friday, starting at 15:30 hours (3:30pm).

 

The Ministry of Agriculture, in compliance to the directive, started its wellness program on 26th January 2018. The program starts with a walk round Capital Hill ring road (some officers prefer jogging). The starting point for the Ministry is at the main entrance. After the walking/jogging, an aerobics session is conducted at Ministry of Agriculture Car Park.
