The Agriculture Production Estimate Survey (APES) results for third round are out. The country has however registered positive results in most of the species of animals and livestock as well as crops.

In some areas, this production year has seen a decrease in production especially in crop production and this is mostly attributed to late onset of rainfall, disasters (cyclones Ana and Gombe) as well as low inorganic fertilizer uptake in some areas.
