Kasungu agricultural development Division
Kasungu ADD is made up of five District Agricultural Development Offices; Kasungu, Mchinji, Dowa West, Dowa East and Ntchisi which are further sub divided into 27 Extension Planning Areas (EPAs), 392 sections and 566,154 farm households (FHHs). The major crops grown under rain-fed conditions include maize, groundnuts, beans, soya beans, cassava, sweet potato and tobacco. The common irrigated crops are maize, tomato, cabbage, onion, potato and leafy vegetables.
